The light at the end of the poverty tunnel

Everything happens for a reason. Mother Teresa once said, “I think it is very beautiful for the poor to accept their lot, to share it with the passion of Christ. I think the world is being much helped by the suffering of the poor people.” And it is true. Charitable Christians all over the country are fighting the government via religious freedom laws in order to feed the homeless despite of a no-feeding law, because the LORD demands us to show compassion (Deuteronomy 16:17), and how could we possibly show compassion if the we remove the opportunity for compassion by actually fixing the problem? It is the lord’s plan for the world to get worse, “for nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.” (Matthew 24:7), if we are to prepare for the second coming, we should not be attempting to fix the world’s problems. Instead, we should focus on converting as many people as possible, because their souls are more important than any homeless problem they may face, all we have to do is keep them alive long enough until the LORD’s second coming, which I am almost certain is any minute now.

  1. “Instead, we should focus on converting as many people as possible, because…” religion is the answer to every problem. (sarcasm mode on) Yeah, history has proven itself (sarcasm mode off)

Hell, even the Apostles were saying they were certain it was any minute now.

    • Oh ye of little faith. Just because Christ had not come for 2000 years and even the first resurrection was dubious, doesn’t mean he won’t come eventually. Prophecies are coming true: everybody knows that before the wicked modern ages, war famine and earthquakes only happened within horse-riding distance, never on a worldwide basis until Satan-worshippers conjured the electron.

      • OMG… you’re right! Everyone knows that pornography didn’t exist until the internet was created.. which wouldn’t exist if if weren’t for computers… which wouldn’t exist without those evil electrons! Who would have thought that something so tiny that it can’t be seen would result in moral depravity on a global scale? People used to be so righteous! It MUST involve some supernatural presence!
